Girls Uniform

• Black school blazer with crest (Compulsory for all pupils);
• Black pleated skirt (Two pleats at the front and an inverted split at the back);
• White blouse/ School tie with metal clip (compulsory for Year 8-11 pupils);
• Purple pullover with school crest (Optional);
• Black socks;
• Plain black flat shoes

Plain black 60 denier tights must be worn from 7th November to 30th April inclusive

Boys Uniform

• Black school blazer with crest (Compulsory for all pupils);
• Black trousers;
• White shirt / School tie with metal clip (compulsory for year 8-11 pupils);
• Purple pullover with school crest (Optional);
• Black socks;
• Plain black flat shoes

Please note the following points in relation to uniform:

• Hair should remain a natural colour and be simply and neatly styled. The minimum acceptable length is a number ‘2’ cut;
• Cosmetics of any kind may not be worn when in school uniform;
• Skirts must have two pleats at the front and an inverted split at the back. Skirts must be knee length (middle of the knee). We will request that you purchase a new skirt if it is not the correct length.;
• (Jewellery) Pupils may wear a watch and a small signet ring, no other jewellery is permitted in the interest of Health and Safety;
• (Tights) Girls must wear plain black 60 denier tights from 7th November to 30th April and when representing the school at an internal/external occasion;
• (School Scarf) Only the St Mark’s School Scarf is permitted to be worn and can be purchased in School;
• Outdoor Coat – only the St Mark’s Mac-in-the-Sac may be worn over the School Blazer in inclement weather. Fleeces are not to be worn

Regulation items of uniform may be obtained from Saints & Scholars Newry, O’Hare’s Warrenpoint, McEvoy’s Newry and Daisy Newry.
